I was lucky enough to be in Roma and was staying close buy when they did a private pre-showing of the Gallardo at that store. A horrible wet and cold night and I was able to go in for a while. The atmosphere on the inside made you forget about the weather outside. Several Gcars and Murci's in neon colors and the place decorated to match. Stunning food with even more stunning models serving it. Everybody was very happy and nice. Why wouldn't you be?

    Bello, eh?

And you have to see the official workshop, it is located in via Appia, but it's quite far away from Via Veneto.
Just for your info, the owner of Lamborghini Roma also owns the official Porsche Dealer.

I hope you visited the Ferrari Store located in Via Tomacelli, not far from the Spanish Steps...
Plus, the official Ferrari and Maserati dealer, in front of the Galleria Borghese.

    Anyway... You liked my city?

I did really like your city, but be aware that I also like Milan and dislike Venice! :)

I did go in the Ferrari store, but missed the official dealer you mentioned, which is too bad as I was staying at the Excelsior and St. Regis Grand.

One cold, rainy day (Thursday I think it was), but nice the rest of the time.

Did all the tourist things (Bernini fountains, Coliseum, Vatican, etc. etc. etc.), plus a multi-day trip to Prato by train.

You may recognize that other guy. ;)

You weren't far from Sa.Mo.Car.'s Showroom (Fe - Ma) which is in Via Pinciana, about 200 mt far away from the Westin Excelsior Hotel.

And, like Porsche and Lamborghini, they have their workshop and another showroom in a peripheral area of the city.

And... Wow, you saw Mr. Joseph Ratzinger, aka Pope Benedict XVI... Great picture! And for sure, a wonderful moment for you!!
