    In the manual for the 308 GTS/B, it requires a minimum of RON 91. When I researched this it equal 87 regular. Am I correct on this? Is the engine a high compression unit? Since these cars are almost 30 years old; I'm guessing the fuel has much improved over the last 20 years or so and the 87 fuel wouldn't be a problem. I use Chevron with Techron.

    Yes, the 87 AKI minimum US octane rated fuel is fine (at worst, it's equivalent to about 91~92 RON).
