I want to do a piece clear bra for the roof + A pillars of my 458. How much does it usually cost?

A place quoted me $1800, they said it's because 1 piece is pricy. Is it true? Or is it the Ferrari tax?

Seems like A pillar and front of the roof easily get chip. You guys don't noticed?

have never noticed or thought there was risk - did expel on front and sides and behind rear wheel wells. i do not think there is risk to the pillars or roof.

Will you install it yourself? I can get the price for that piece.

No, i need a installer. I am just checking what's the price range, and if it's really needed to do the whole roof.

The piece costs about 1/3 of the quote you got. Perhaps you can bargain a little. Good luck!

That's crazy expensive. I've had several cars done at the factory Xpel store here in town and their prices are no where near that high.

I would avoid going to that place. Been getting prices myself and that piece should be installed for around $800. $1800 is a bit high

I did the roof of my 911 TTS which is black since I can't stand the thought of swirls (it's my DD and I wash it a lot including "touchless" car washes) I did XPEL like the rest of the front end and it was $500. I also replaced the entire hood peice on a panamara I had (now sold) and it was $1000. Therefore $1800 seams really high IMO but I avoid "Ferrari tax" by taking lots of different cars to the same place.

I end up going to another place for $1200. One single sheet from A pillar to the roof to the back.

They could do $600 if do them separate, but I want no seams
