I just moved back to the mainland from Hawaii. I shipped the TR in a container and it took some damage. There were 2x4's going across the roof and either the hit the roof or the car bounced up and hit them. They are fairly minor and it didn't disturb the paint. I have a PDR guy who will remove them but I must remove the headliner.

I've read all the threads I can find about removing it but no one ever gets past removing the lighting and visors. Is the headliner glued? I read that the BBi's have a riveted headliner but no one has said anything about TR's.

    Anybody?

I don’t recall ever seeing any info on this.

Might try chatting with a breaker like Ferrparts and see if they have a headliner that the can part out. They will let you know right away if it is glued and therefor not something that you can remove and replace.

    Good luck,
    Vincenzo

Any decent paintshop or body repair shop will be able to do this all for you, strange you have to remove the headliner yourself? Even take it to a Ferrari independent specialist who restores cars too..

I had my 512 tr roof dents removed by paint less dent removal guy.
    All done from outside.
They clean area with alcohol then drip hot glue on a special rivit and glue to deep part of dent.
A snapping specialized wrench pulls the dent up and alcohol melts glue contact.
Then a rubber coated punch taps the high spots.
I posted a thread on this under shipping damage

If you want to remove the headliner, the windshield has to come out. Not an easy or cheap job.
