Hello, I have a problem with an hydraulic leak on the front side of my spider roof, the oil drips on the passenger seat. Does somebody know how I can repair it? The roof is closed, can I open it? Thanks for ansering.

Probably best not to open it and you will likely have more fluid leak through.

Suggest getting in contact with Claus from https://www.tophydraulics.com who will be able to guide you on the process on removing the leaking cylinder and getting it rebuilt.

There is a trim piece with will pull off. Realize it is probably full of oil that leaked out of the cylinder tho so be careful. If you just have one then probably better to send off but it’s the same as a merc cylinder so you can swap it with a new one too. Fishing the lines is a little bit of a pita but not terrible.

My front latch cylinder has a nasty leak. Will be sending it off (along with the two secondary - minor leak on left) off for a rebuild/reseal this weekend.

Plan is to use these guys:

Hoping a detailer can get the top cleaned up without much drama.
