Considering an F12 in either of these colours. Keen to know peoples preferences for the F12 Also any comments on should one need a panel repaired whether Berlinetta is easier to repair vs Fuoco (being Triple Paint)
Clearly Triple paint will be more difficult (match) to touch up/paint for road stone chips. I suggest a paint protection film like Xpel so you wont have to worry about it.
Yep that I will do for sure. Its just if you really need a pane panel painted (due to an accident) I hear triple layer is quite difficult to repair
Rosso Berlinetta and Rosso Fuoco are both 3-layer paints. Fuoco is a bit more orangey to the eye; Berlinetta is really nice. Both were "finalist" picks for our F12. 3-layer is more complex to paint, and more complex to repair. I'll defer to the bodywork experts on here for specifics, but having had a few friends who needed their 3-layer paint "fixed", you need a shop and a painter who knows how to do it well. I'm unsure if it was required, but in each case the entire panel (fender, door, bumper) or section (entire rear quarter) were done, but that's been my experience with all of our cars - flat, metallic or otherwise - to get it done properly. XPEL or similar is smart way to limit chips due to road debris.
