I am a huge Enzo fanatic and as a student at college my means of getting one is to finish medical school and order my favourite car of all time. What I was wondering is which colour is best for the Enzo? These are my current opinions:
Rosso Corsa: My favourite at the moment combines aggression and power and encaptures the spirit of Ferrari
Rosso Scuderia: Good but looks too light/ faded
Nero: gives the Enzo a dynamic, aggressive look and according to many somewhat 'beautifies the car' but I think it hides some of the details.
Bianco: Disgusting- this colour is for rappers who will chrome it up and put soundz in it
Argentino/ silver whatever: makes it look, dare I say it, a tad mainstream
    Orange: Nope, too 'retina singeing'
What are your opinions on this? Maybe anyone who has an Enzo (or two)

Order one? That ship has long sailed. Only 399 built worldwide, that's it - end of production.

You're in medical school, thats great. I'm sure you will be making lots of money.
    Good luck with your career.

If I was you, I would get an entry level Ferrari first...(328, 348, 355, 360) and then move on with a more expensive Ferrari.

    Hold up people!

Just because he is going to medical school doens't mean he is rich as hell, once you graduate medical school, It's not like you can suddenly afford a $800,000 car. Thats just not how it works. Only the most successful of the greatest of the greatest doctors make enought money to afford an enzo, and this guy is telling us that as soon as he graduates college he can afford an enzo, this smells kinda fishy...

Or possibly just ambitious. Either way, save the cynicism until you have a few more posts under your belt. Only the regulars are allowed such luxuries :)

Do you think im gonna buy an Enzo straight out of med. school?
I plan to buy one when I am around 25-30. My dad is a doctor so he's gonna show me the ropes as well. He is extremely experienced and figures that I can be earning decent enough money by the time im 25 so I can get an Enzo by the time im 25-30. Plus my dads gonna help me out.

Plus we may get a 98/99 355 F1 Spider in the near future and equip it with a Tubi exhaust. Also insurance is not too much of a worry, with specialist car insurance is around 3-4% of the car's value so it would be around 30K per year. And even less if you travel <1000kms per year

What type of medical field are you entering to get out at 25, making money?

My girlfriend is currently studying to become a Doctor and probably won't be done with school until she's in her late 20's or on into her 30's before she's full-fledged Doctor material.

Are you a child prodigy? If so, I shall steal your brain and sell it on the black market, making enough to buy myself an Enzo.

What are you talking about? Unless you are Doogie Howser, you graduate college when you are around 21 or 22. Maybe your dad has forgotten, but medical school isn't three years, or anything like it. You will not be earning any money, decent or otherwise, when you are 25. That is, unless you are in a seven year med program such as at Northwestern (your comments about college suggest otherwise) and then you still have to do your residency.
It's a very noble profession, and I wish you luck, but if you think the cash is going to be rolling in when you are 25, you are delusional.

Im 16 right now, so when i finish medical school (+4 years+2 training) in neonatology ill be 21 so after 4 years as a general practictioner (during which time I specialise towards neotalogy so i can become a Paediatrition) So by 25 ill be earning money. Im not saying I will be able to afford an Enzo by then, but I may be able to get one by then. In NZ and Australia, med school goes like this-1 yr general Health Science Course, followed by 4 years specialising, then 2 years on the job training (during which you earn around 40K) . So total is seven years. My friend got a medal at uni for top scholar-hes doing dentistry where it is 5 years and he is 21. (He left school at 16) Maybe in America the med. school courses are longer. Besides, the point of this thread was to discuss the best colours for an Enzo, I think I know how long my stay at university is going to be.

Also in Australia, educating yourself goes like this: 6 years primary(Y6), 6 years
secondary(Y12 or 7th form) then med school (seven years)

Vimal - Sounds like you've got a plan and motivation. Mix in some hard work and nothing will stop you. To answer your question, the dark blue enzo that I have seen in pictures is REALLY sweet.

One last thing - I assume that you know a little Latin since you are going to be studying medicine. So in reference to all the people telling you that you can't do something, "Illegitimis non carborundum"

What do you mean I dont know what Im talking about? We'll see in 10 years or so. Some people are ambitious and some are not. Aim high, work hard and you will get somewhere...no work and you'll end up in a dead-end job. Thanks FarmerDave for your support. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill...it was a simple quetsion...what colour is your favorite for the enzo? i wanted an answer, not everyone telling me that I can't do something. At the moment I may look like an over-ambitious 16 year old (of which there are many), but the difference is that I am also prepared to work for it also. Like what my father says, what you put in, you get out.

maybe bring back the question in 10 years, ... but I doubt you will,
you will be grown up (maybe), and will have anther point of vieuw to questions as "what colour should I take within 10 years for my enzo" ....

Sure, you can be ambitious, but don't aim to high, ... we ALL love the Enzo, and we ALL would love to have one, but ....
As a child, (16years still is) you 'dream' about exotics, and in the past "countachs" etc... were "dreams", like the Enzo is nowadays, but growing up, does wake you up !!!
....... but dreams do come true, so ... dream on !

ok Patriek sweet as i get what you mean, it could be true because there are many exotics that I have dreamt about, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. Btw I see your're ordering a F430, but what about a Stradale version of that? Many mags have confirmed this will be put into production as Stradales currently make up 30% od all 360 sales

I know, I do like the "stradale" better, but when will it come ??? My 360 spider was not what i expected (very good car, but spider is not for me), so I will take delivery of my 430 this month, and took a lot of options that will make it a little bit more 'stradale alike' , sure I know it wont be a stradale, but hey when the stradale comes, we can still see what we do, I do have a good relationship with my dealer, so ...

    options are : roll bar
    ceramic carbon dics
    race seats
    4 pont belts
    challenge wheels
    carbon interior

So the 430 will sure be a special car, and I prefer a stradale version, but I rather have a 430 than a 360 stradale for sure.

Now I have to go to work, here in Europe it is 21.30u, and I'm in the night life, so ... (www.jennyz.be)

I don't love the Enzo; in fact I think it is one of the ugliest Ferraris ever made! For the kind of money an Enzo costs, I could have 2 or 3 real Ferraris from the 50s or 60s.

interesting that you can get through med school so quickly there. As has been said, here you won't be making a bean until you are at least 30.
