Rosso corsa vs rosso corsa metallic

Sorry but the pics dont show anything. While the lighting in the showroom may have been the same, the angle you took the pics from is drastically different and as such, the pic is not representative.

Rosso Corsa metallic has a very slight metallic flake - you need to be on top of it, to see the difference. it will play with light more, enhancing the lines and curves of the 488.

During the factory visit in Maranello, i saw them both; You can't go wrong with either one but for me the Metallic was something that accentuates the gorgeous lines better.

 

A bit late to the party here! I looked at these posts before eventualyl buying an almost new 296 which is RCM. I had previously owned a Pista which was just RC.

Without an RC car right next to my 296 to see the difference I would say that I CAN see that RCM is a slightly deeper more luxurious version of RC. However I really wouldn't spend the money on it if I were buying new because to me it isn't worth the extra. I would either stick with RC or go for something more obvious like Magma or Imola.

 

Except the fact when the colour was released as the release colour for the 488 GTB it wasnt as expensive. IIRC about $9,000 USD.

Each to their own , I like the RC however at certain angles it looks flat , definitely not befitting of such an expensive car.
