    As many of you know Rosso Corsa has evolved over the years. It originated as code 300, then 300/6, 300/9 and 300/12. 308s started with 300 as I recall. My 85 GTB is 300/6 and I believe 328s are 300/9 or 300/12. Below are the Galsurat formulas for their series 22 water based base coat for /6, -9 and /12. I tried to get the 55 series, solvent based formulas as well, but they don't list one for 300/6. It's interesting to see how different the mixes are. I have a perfect match to /6 in a single stage and /9 in 55 series base/clear and the differences when next to each other are very obvious. /9 is much more orange and lighter over all. /6 is a darker blood red by comparison. /9 ans /12 are similar but with the substitution of Ochre for Tinting White, and other slight adjustments.

    To my knowledge there is no Rosso Corsa FER 300/12 on 308/328

    My error in my initial post. 22 series is a 2k, single stage top coat. It would be fine for touch up. (too may choices at 8 in the morning.)

    From 46823 (June 83) to 66731 (september 1986) the Rosso Corsa color code is 300/6. I don't know before. At some point after that they switched to 300/9 as 77780 (July 1988) is 300/9

    Is there a precise ( we talk about 80's Ferrari car ;) ) for the switch 300/6 to 300/9 ?
    My ex #72219 manufactured on 29 May 1987 is 300/9 and the book of #73611 of July 1987 show 300/6 on it !

    1988 328 GTS #75083 has 300/9 with a production date of October 21, 1987.

    I would trust the paint sticker much more than anythingelse: now we know from paint stickers that 300/6 changed into 300/9 in the second half of 1987

    Some have been removed and new was placed on the car. Not sure all were the good one....
