I paint metered a brand new 296 and the variance is pretty crazy...from 4mils to almost 10 mils in some areas. Is this normal? The paint quality is sub par in general...not too surprised by that, but the thickness almost reads like a repainted car.
If new cars arrive in New Jersey and damage is noted they will be repaired. The customer will not be told; Ferrari considers NJ as still part of the manufacturing process.
I have heard this before. Curious, will a paint meter work on PPF cars? If so, I can test my 812 GTS and Pista. On a side topic, I am considering Mugello for my 12C. Care to share any pics?
you can't use a meter on PPF cars - I mean you can but the figures won't be accurate and film can slightly vary in thickness itself.
