My 99 F355 has drilled rotors.....was this an option for MY99? The others i was looking at all had standard rotors....just curious. thx
I recall that the Fiorano package for 99's did include cross-drilled rotors. Not sure if it was a standalone option, but likely.
I also have a very late 99f1 that has the cross drilled rotors with black calipers thats not a fiorano. It was just an option.
+1 ....... I believe it was an option on the later models ..... and possibly only the last year, as I have yet to see any earlier models running them .....
Ok i will take a photo and post it.To be honest i wish the calipers were red i was thinking of painting them.Being that they are black with cross drilled rotors is that rare or something?
Not saying mine came from the factory like this, but I have cross-drilled rotors on my 1995 Berlinetta, probably installed by someone before me.
I had a '99 Berlinetta with the drilled rotors as well. It's listed on the window sticker but unfortunately I can't post images anymore, but here's another post I made that has it: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140821464-post13.html
If it was a factory option shouldn't they appear on the parts diagram as an alternate number? Ricambi doesn't list it.
Wow, I can't believe what a good deal some of the options were... $931 for the shields $444 rear Challenge grid $602 for red calipers
I also have cross drilled disc's on my 1996 GTB. So either was an option or previous owner had them fitted. Looks great with red brake callipers!
