"Rough" gearbox?

Hi guys, I just collected my Diablo SV, alright I know it's not a Ferrari but I also have a 456GT & couple of other Ferraris before as well. It's a general technical question.


The car has a new clutch job just 300miles ago by the previous owner. When I change up to 2nd gear, the transmission will jerk if I don't gas it which makes it very uncomfortable to cruise on low gears or drive in city traffic. Otherwise, she speeds up fine.

I'm suspecting the flywheel/clutch alignment or something to do with the fuel/air as the idling is sometimes a little erratic & will drop dangerously to stall if I change down in traffic but it always starts up.

Car has basically been a garage queen all it's life but always agent maintained and unlikely to have been abused @ all as the ex owner clocked just 6000miles in 11yrs!

I just took my 456 for a round & she performs great, revs to redline with excellent torque & never miss a beat. Many thanks.
