A while back, in one of the many timing belt conversations, someone posted a description and some photos of a different way to route the AC lines to makes it easier to move the compressor out of the way when doing a belt change. I did some searching but I can’t find what I’m looking for. Does anyone have any information about this ?

You may be thinking of "Brian Harper".

When he replaced the long a/c hoses that run from the front of the car through the rocker panel, he continued them under and then up the rearward side of the gas tank and then back to the a/c compressor.

He says it does not interfere with anything including reinstallation of the wheel liner.

OMG that would have been so much easier. They are a pain to replace and get the hose ends oriented properly.
