I would like to thank Roy Cats of Cats Exotics for his support in last weekends event.
Roy bought my Diablo SVR earlier this year and has been enjoying from what I hear.

I just returned from Mid Ohio. I was there for the NASA National Championships. I ran my Porsche 944 S2 in the 944 Supercup series. I won the qualifying races on Friday and Saturday which put me on the pole for Sunday's Championship race and before lunch on sunday I had become the first 944 Supercup National Champion in history. Regional championships had been held for years but this was the first Nationals ever.

It is not cheap to do these events all year and Nationals is even more expensive.

It would have been very difficult to do this on my own.
ROY CATS of Cats Exotics sponsored my car for the event and showed his support with a VERY generous amount of $$$$$$. It made a lot of my headaches disappear and I would like to publicly thank Roy for his help. It only confirms all the great things we have heard about him for so long.

Thank you Roy. you are a huge part of my best accomplishment so far.
I will post pics as they come available.(I may need help with that)

Karl...with all the repairs my 308 has needed, I thought I was one of your biggest financial contributors ;)

CONGRATS Karl!!! I'm still talking about the ride in the Altima, and if that was 1/100th of what you do on the track, it's no wonder you won. When are you having your local victory celebration? :)

Tomorrow at 12 at Wendy's. Come on down. haha.
Due to traffic we didn't get to go really fast in the Ultima. May be some other time.
I am actually thinking about racing the 944 and the Ultima at Roebling on the 30th of Sept. One in each race. The Ultima on slicks should be sick.

    Thanks

    Karl

Jeremy, I tried to return your call a couple of weeks ago. I was at Salt Lake for the Grand Am finale and my phone had no reception where I was. Finally your # got bumped of the call log so I couldn't try again. All I remembered was Area code 828.
    Sorry i missed you.

We didn't go really fast?? I won't post the speed you were going when we came off 526 back onto Rivers (just in case the cops read this ;) ), but if that wasn't fast I will have to wear a diaper before we do that again. YIKES! And sorry I called it an Altima in my last post...I know it's not a Nissan...just typing faster than I can read.

I was thinking.... What can you do in an Altima around Charleston that is scary??? Ultima.... Makes more sense. How are you enjoying the 'low country' Gil?
