    At some roadside shop, about twenty years ago, I picked up one of his cassette tapes of all his prank calls. It's great.

    When I saw a subject line "Roy D. Mercer" in Silver, I assumed it was to announce his death!

    I listened to my first "Mercer" tape about 16 years ago and am amazed that these things are still floating around out there.
