    Good afternoon,

i did post it in "technical" but no answers.....

i'm the owner of a 20001 360 F1 and want to install a Shift light that i had in the past on other cars...

But i can not find or deduce what is the cable that gives the RPM information to teh dashboard to take it and conect the Shift lamp to it.

Or if any one that has installed one knows another way to take the RPM information from the inside of the car form a moreeasy access zone it will be very helpful.

    thanks!

There is not such a signal in the car.
All the ECUs which need the RPM information, including the dashboard, take it from the CAN bus.
Your shift light probably needs an analog signal the frequency of which is proportional to the RPM. You will have to take it on the injectors, or on the coils, or on the RPM sensors, in the engine compartment.
