It photographs well here. I think the stickers make the car even though a bit much. It's like having a '73 or '74RS without the "Carrera" on the side.
Am I the only one who likes the decals? I think it makes the car. Those and black rims would make it perfect to me.
That plain silver looks incredible, but I do like the decals. To me, the GT3's should look a little racy. That's why I like them. They're different. They're not classy, they shouldn't look classy. Mark
There's no denying that the silver looks great. I agree that it is a bit too understated for such a nasty car - but that's clearly what the owner was going for. I inquired about this PTS 4.0 back in Feb. The owner wanted $250K. I can't justify that kind of premium and respect myself in the morning but DAMN! this thing looks incredible Image Unavailable, Please Login
I loved it in black. With stickers. Gives it some identity, like the Challenge Stradale stripe... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Two more images of this RS 4.0 in 'colour to sample' GT Silver... Owner was aiming to create the most understated and discreet 911 997 GT3 RS 4.0 to date. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the understated GT silver. All he needs now is to get RUF to put in one of his discreet roll cages (IRC).
All spec. original, ex-factory, OEM supplied: - Paint-to-sample GT Silver. - Front air-intake, lower mirror housings, rear-spoiler all black. - Steering wheel, gearshift, handbrake in leather (non Alcantara). - Wheels silver (non GT Silver). One point that nobody mentioned: How the hell is GT Silver a paint to sample option on a $185,000 Porsche??? I think the PTS was $8000 for the 4.0...for SILVER paint!
