    Does anyone know of a black flexible filler that could be used for filling and repairing a damaged rubber bumper insert ? Dino 308 GT4. Thank you.

    Thanks Francis that looks ideal. Will sort out some photos most recent work has been rebuilding distributors, cleaning engine, sonic cleaning and rebuilding carbs.

    So if flexane is used to fill in rubber, it probably needs to be painted over?

    If it works I was thinking to satin black spray the whole rubber and then go over that with bumper black.

    I used Flexane on the inside of my bumper insert so end finish didn't matter. But you can cut it, sand it etc. I think satin spraying would probably work well though you might have to redo it every few years if it peels

    BTW - I should acknowledge Gav Culshaw for his initial recommendation of Flexane to me some 18 months ago.

    Yea there is a thread here on concours and painted bumpers, It would look good in SEM trim black Satin which I used on the front and rear Valance on my first bare metal. It turns out Braden used the same on a award winning GT4. But I'm afraid of painting them cause if they scratch or chip.
