    What product do you reccomend to care for the rubber targa top gaskets and the other gaskets , doors , front and rear bonnets ,etc . Thanks and Happy Fathers day , Elliot

    For most of the rubber I use a product called Zymol Seal which is pretty good. For the targa top front seal I coat it in silicone grease. This does give a rather strange appearance as it looks permanently wet, but it makes the roof much easier to slide in at the front and protects the priceless "no longer available" seal.

    it also reduces/eliminates squeaking caused by the parts "working" as you go over bumps/uneven surfaces.

    back in my old 2002 days, the bmw factory recommended pure glycerin on all
    weatherstriping.

    I've been using straight glycerine for years. It's cheap and it works.
