rubber mats ?

has anyone found a set that works nicely. Weathertech has a product but it looks a bit bulky.

I have the Weathertech for my daily driver and it protects really well. I just can't seem to get myself to pay $430 for them vs the $100 they charge for "normal" cars.

 

Congrats! I would like to know too as I am expecting mine in 2 months. In the meantime please post pictures and driving impressions.

 

I checked with WeatherTec but they do not offer mats for Ferrarie(s)

 

here are a couple of quickie iphone shots. its a 2011 silver with black racing seats. was a bit skeptical on those but really find them comfortable. the care is a true joy to drive, nimble, responsive, fast, and easy. the tranny is a huuuge improvement over the 612's. sound is good, esp at rev's. no complaints really, other than the fact that there are too few places to really let her rip.

The weathertech product is great ... a bit pricey but great. I drive mine in the salt and snow in NW Ohio and the carpets of my 2010 were near perfect after 29,500+ miles when I sold it. I moved the liners to my 2012. They fit perfect. Theyu are not floor mats, but floor liners. Better than mats because they go up the wall of the floor a bit. http://www.weathertech.com/ferrari/2010/california/floorliner-digitalfit/ gives you a photo. I got the tan to match the beige interior.

Thanks Rick, love the floor liners have them in my Audi S4 and much more protection than mats. Do they still fit in your 2012? If yes, that's my solution too.

 

Weathertech is good but shipping out to HI was cost-prohibitive so I had to find a more fiscally sound alternative. These are floor mats and not lines and are not as comprehensive but I've had them for a week and aside from the strong rubber smell which should dissipate with time, they have been fairly sound and provide good traction. Please note they do not extend up the footwell and don't have the large footprint of Weathertech. Weather is always good out here so snow/slush is not an issue. Spilled pho takeout on the other hand is always a risk haha.

Nice car by the way. love silver. if I did not already have 2 silver cars, it would have been my choice of color as well.

regarding carpet protection, the weathertec liners offer much more protection (sides of the foot well) than even a deep, heavy "winter" mat can. only slight downside is that the liners are plasticky, not rubbery and get slippery when wet. I have not minded though.

 

Yes, these rubber floor mats I procured have very sticky grip. I think if our friend Norcal is just concerned about muddy running shoes, these should do the trick.

 

Yep, I took them out of the 2010 and put them in the 2012. Fit is the same, great.

I have the Weather tech rubber mats for our California (black over black carpet). The fit perfectly and don't move around. If you drive your car (we have 12,000 miles on it already), and take it in the rain, then you will be very happy you have these mats. If you take it out only on sunny days and clean roads, stick with the carpets.
