    No sir. I ran Eddie in the British F3 championship in 1980 after a stint with Surtees in F1. I also worked for Andrea De Cesaris (*hard* work that boy! ;)) when he was in F3. Then there's a few others you've probably never heard of......

    He was actually darn quick. But not too "smart" it seemed to me. I think we built about 3 new cars in the first half dozen races!..... It's always been something of a mystery how he even got his competition license with the nervous tick he had going on occasion - He'd be noodling down the pit lane, I go and stand out there to get him and I swear I'd see the whites of his eyes a couple of times! :eek: :)

    I'll take you up on that offer - Hopefully Austin next year.......?

    PS; The theory on the license was, basically, "he's Italian!"...... [And Daddy did own the import rights for Marlboro....]
