Ruf Porsche 911 Twin Turbo Cabriolet (Wide Body)

An ultra rare, large size 1:6 scale model of a legendary Ruf Porsche Twin Turbo Cabriolet. It used to be one of the world’s fastest cars back in the late 80s that ruled the German Autobahns with a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h). This is a large model car that measures 22” long with highly intricate details, which was built in 1991. It was custom made out of molded plastic, automotive clay fenders, cardboard and automotive paint finish. It features interior details and a fully functioning battery powered headlights using a power switch located on driver's manual gear shifter. It's also a great project car for those who wish to make this into a fancy cool Porsche lamp, like a real car with lights. You can either have the large GT2 style rear whale tail spoiler and roll cage on, or without it with a wide-bodied Carrera look. This model is not a toy for children, which does not roll and it is meant to be a decorative shelf pedestal art display only in your office, bedroom, showroom, bar, etc. A great conversation piece. It was custom built as a personal hobby project of my Ruf tuned Porsche collection. It's a must have for those Ruf Porsche 911 enthusiasts.

See actual photos below for comparison with a smaller 1/18 scale model 993 and a sample of working headlights on second last image.

It is available for private sale from Toronto, ON Canada. PM me if interested.

The real yellow bird was a coupe.

Besides that, this is a horrible model.

Ouch! Talk about a classless remark. Reveals a lot about your negative character as a person. I have no further comments.

Doesn't look like the real yellow bird. Very poorly done.

OK, but even if I am a horrible person - it is still a horrible model.

Wow! All this hostility from Porsche guys, just over a frickin model car! I bet you guys must be pissed off you can't build a decent model car from scratch. I guess this Porsche forum is full of immature internet arm chair wannabee bullies. I'll just leave here then and stick with friendlier Ferrari forum.

Looks like a 911964993 shortened long nosed ruffed up dipped in a 55 gallon drum of yellow paint. What does the car's title say?

It appears to be a 3D print. You can probably download the .STL files from the internet for free, and make your own. Some assembly required.

I would think 3d printing would have better proportions than that..
