I cant wait for the games. Too bad no carriers here in the US will be airing the games. MY rugby team chipped in and we bought an online package where we get to stream the games. So we are gonna get a couple kegs and watch the games on a big tv. Im really excited. GO ENGLAND!

Haha, it turns to war in my house with these world cups! My mom is Irish and My Dad, my sister and I are English (my younger brother is American, so he doesn't give a crap)! It will usually end up with mom going on strike, we have to do stuff ourselves!!! GO ENGLAND!
CK, there's no feed here at all?? Not even some kind of awful pay per view arrangement on DirecTV??? Gonna have to do a search now. Geez, my knees and shoulders are hurting just thinkin' about it, but if it's there to be watched, I'll find it! One of the most amusing things I've done in the past is try to explain to my family, while watching a match, just exactly what's going on. The Amercian football brain really makes rugby hard to understand. That whole, "no forward passes" thing really messes with their heads. I wonder how many guys on here spent any time playing the game.. I'm sure all the guys replying here have at leasr a little time playing. I spent a bunch of years in college and after, playing on teams that went from fair to awful, but always had a great time. Mostly scrum half, some time in the scrum, too. CK, stay tuned, I'll see what I can find. [edit] DirecTv has Setana Sports. 24 hr. rugby and soccer from Europe. Includes Rugby World Cup coverage. $15 a month. Looks good to me!! Dave
hey pap, your team is staying in my city for the competition and i will be at the match australia vs fidji the 23rd of september we will see a great match
I have given up trying to explain the rules. Did you play for Philly-whitemarsh after college or a local club? My only problem Dave is that I will be at school when the games begin. As much as I want too, there is just no way I could get directtv in my postage stamp dorm room. what I am going to do is buy a package online that allows to stream all the games live (great quality too), and hook up the tv output from my computer to my tv and plug in the sound to the surround sound. That will work just fine. I just wish that American tv companies would pony up broadcast it. But since there are no stops for commercial breaks, I dont see that happening.
Sweet!! Should be a good game! Will be a good World Cup and I will try and catch as many games as possible on TV.
Where can Americans find rugby to watch or Aussie rules football? 2 great sports, that are not readily available in America.
