    The TV news reported that it now violates 911 security regulations- apparently this applies to charter flights also.

    The truly stupid part of this was letting them take a video, and the truly, truly stupid part was posting it on Instagram. Personally, I have no problems with the idea of a cockpit visit on a charter, although letting him sit in the captain seat was probably a bit much.

    United's FOM probably bans this (maybe 121 does as well? 135 certainly does not), but that doesn't mean it was unsafe or anything.

    Hopefully the Captain is ready to retire, because I think he's flown his last flight for United!

    Yep. Pretty much how I see it. Bummer that it’s such a big deal, but lots of stupidity floating around in that cockpit to get where they are.
