Anyone put run flats in a Lusso?

I got a flat in DD Tesla once and having to wait for roadside assistance was torture and the whole process wasted 5 hours of my life that I am never getting back.

Anyone install run flats on their DD Lusso?

Those tires sacrifice road handling for perceived convenience. It may be impossible to find the right tire size for your car.

The most common tire issues are caused by nails and screws. Having a couple cans of fix-a-flat is a better option that doesn't affect handling. Far cheaper and lighter too.

    My opinion anyway.

The side walls of runflats are usually stiffer and more rigid which makes the ride more uncomfortable in my opinion.
My wife has got 20 inch runflats on her Camaro and they are definitely going to be replaced, because the car seems to be jumping over tiny bumps instead of absorbing the impact.

Having had BMW’s for years, which over here are all fit with Runflats, I would say if you don’t have to, don’t do it. The ride is terrible, you feel every bump to the point it’s not enjoyable to drive. And that’s on decent roads…

I carry a basic tool kit with the screw-in tire repair things, and an air compressor. Now if I can get to the nail or screw in the tire is a whole different problem.
