my main priority is comfort for every day use, and roads here are not great so i would like to get input on the option of run flat's Vs standard tires, which are more comfortable ?

i was told by my dealer that the run flat tires are stiff and less absorbing due to sidewalls being stiffer?
i will go with 19" wheels up front for comfort .

please let me know what is your input on this.

    Avoid the run flats.

A friend of mine had a the same issue, and decided the best option for him was to buy an additional set of wheels/tires.

he prefers his after market rims on the 599. he keeps the stock wheels and tires mounted and ready to use as a spare. if he gets a flat, he has a spare wheel ready to go at home.

As an aside... I knew a Hisham in miami in 1998...

No Ferrari experience, but I have runflats currently on my 335 and I hate them.

The first 1,000 miles or so I didn't understand all the negative talk about them. And then they get broken in. They are very rough, traction isn't good imo. They have a little more than 14K miles on them.

I would avoid them like the plague.
