I did the "Run to the Gorge" event on Saturday/Sunday that was put on by the Puget Sound British Automotive Society. It started at the Jag dealer in Fife and ended up at the Hood River Inn on the Oregon side of the columbia river.

It was open to all marques/models of sports cars and about 65 did the drive. Three Ferraris from our club attended and I drove my Fiat turbo spider.

The wildest car of the weekend was a maroon XJ220 Jaguar that came along. Only about 275 of these were ever built and very few are in the US, because they were never sold here. It has a twin turbo V6, putting out 542 horsepower and the top speed is 210mph+.

I didn't bring my camera, but here's some pictures of the same car from a local Jag web site. I had never seen one of these in person before and I thought some of you might like to see some pictures of it.

Pretty cool Gary. I do remember Park Place Ltd having a couple of them three or so years ago...forget if this was one of them or not.

The first time I saw any of these hot Jags was when I went to the shop where my son's Italian F355 was being Federallized to US & Calif standards. There were 3 of the Jags in the shop there, as well as a super-Porce for a certain Puget Sound MS executive.... Impressive all around.
