    Hello.
    I just registered to forum and this is my first thread. (From south korea)
    My 488 GTB(Rosso Corsa) came in late may and already has 5,500 kms. (Less than 3 month time lol)
    This is my first ferrari and I drive every day! (Falling in love with 488)
    Since this is my first ferrari, I want to put all my efforts to maintain best shape until I get 488 speciale version.

    I gather information regarding running-in from many forums & searching.
    Below is what I gather & summarize based on various sources;
    I would be very thankful if ferrarichat members put any recommendations & opinions about my running-in methods.

    <Rules to keep> + <Break-in before 2,000 km> (BUT THAT IS OVER NOW): O.K. :)

    <Oil Schedule>
    Ask the dealer about the maintenance schedule: oil and fluid changing etc and be in time for every maintenance appointment.

    <Bed-in Brakes>
    Should be O.K. by now ..

    ....and shut down only after temperatures in the engine are stabilized. Heat soak from shutting down a hot hard worked engine too early can have it's negative consequences too.

    Correct modern Ferrari are solid cars.
    After warm up have fun and remember what Andretti said: If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough ...
