As someone who went to the first bull run and drives a lot in connecticut this is all i have to say. The way it is set up this year those here will only drive down to the destination. Last year myself and others drove to copake NY to meet up with the NY crowd then drove on to bennington in a 70 car long exotic parade being stared at by everyone including some hostile looking NY state troopers. Trust me the novelty wears off pretty quick when it becomes a congested parade. The way down to the CT location is pretty boring and heavily patrolled.
Maybe i suffer from observation overload but there is only so much gawking you can do. We paid 35.00 plus signed a waiver to this last year. Myself and others expected more than was offered in bennington. This year they want 100.00 for what i do not know. For me a drive organised by us to a nice new england location involving twisty roads and a decent meal would be more fun and easier on the pocket. Just my .02.

Ok, i am game. Am willing to setup something FAST. This weekend!! Are you guys game? Meet at my place in Wilton NH (03086) and i will GLADLY show you some fun roads and routes AND a nice casual place for lunch, etc.

    So are you guys game?

Saturday (the 12th) in Wilton NH ay high noon.

If so, e-mail me "steve AT enjoythemusic DOT com" to be added to my Ferrari New England Mailing list and will continue the discussion there.

Oh, and no waivers and no fee. Why, because Enzo would probably have wanted us to ENJOY THE DRIVE and it makes no sense paying some lame annual fee for a grand total of ZERO track days in a year (yes, a direct comment towards a certain organization.

PS: Please post replied to my NEW thread :)

Consider it done. No waivers. No fee. Just show up and ENJOY THE DRIVE!!!!!! Can also briefly "close" a few of the roads for a period so we can... :)

Will post date and time soon as this weekend seems a no go for many folks. i ALREADY have a LONG route planned with MANY twisties, elevation changes, some straights, and i THINK i have it down to only TWO traffic lights with a 30 mile or so drive(!! i kid you not).

Oh, and i will gladly supply the champagne and cigars, gratis.

    Gentlemen, start your engines...

    A couple of questions --

1-Are you guys bringing your wives?
2-Anybody get the email about the new england caravan?

I got my little pamphlet in the mail and how I'm trying to find the damn thing.

$70 of it you get a recipt for, it is a charitable donation to Consumer reports. We went yesterday and had a great time, no cops in site, not 1 ticket on the entire trip!

Rob who won you or the eagle talon? What's with the student driver? (lol) I went last year as i already posted and even with the thrill of seeing all 60+ exotics pack a little rest stop in copake and the slow drive up to VT it was not much fun. I get fun from driving hard in a way that avoids coppers, not by looking at parked metal. You guys lucked out on your way home.
