When I normally suggest this, people think I'm mad. I was advised by an Aussie dentist to put a tea spoon of bicarbonate of soda in half a tumbler of hot water ( as hot as you can stand, without burning your mouth) sip and swill around the area, and spit out. Do it once, then again an hour later, then as required. It worked for me,for wisdom removal, and an infected tooth,as well as normal toothache. Give it a go.
Cheers Phil, i may give that a try. Ive been doing the same thing with hot salty water but if i keep taking my tablets its not really bothering me some much now.
mng all, couldnt sleep last night, lay awake wondering how I'm gonna pay the mortgage without my Fchat mods salary Nice to see all those silly extra sections removed
Morning Adam - couldn't agree more about these two subsections. Before they were introduced I was in support of them but without the use of a "Last Posts" function it was a pain to have to look in each, so I never did. Much tidier .
I have a mate comming round today to take he Scud round the block as it has not moved for nearly three weeks. I wont be on edge at all.

Home.... Boxhill.... Home. ...and all the way I was dodging poxy potholes, and some deep buggers too! Stuck behind a learner doing 30 in a 50 for all of the A25 and quite frankly was happy with that 'cos it gave you a chance to dodge the craters! Hardly worth driving any B-roads (and some A-roads) until they're all repaired.
That is very true Richard, and of course you've learned the hard way Drive withe extreme caution is the current message. I counted 8 new potholes in the one mile between my house and the A4, our main arterial road. And although the A4 is a bit better, having been regularly gritted, there are still new, but so far not so severe, potholes to avoid there as well.
Jeez Richard, you must have been stopping and starting all the time with having to wind up that elastic band.
Luckily that was just the Fiesta... (claim forms on their way) Happy to drive on snow / on ice / rain / sleet / hail etc.... but just need a surface that dosen't have 3" deep holes in it. At least I CAN wind up my elastic band... spaz-legs. (wotcha got, another 3 weeks 5 days?)
