    Anyone have any suggestions for RV rentals in Houston? This will be from Oct 17-19th for the 24 Hours of LeMons at MSR Houston, which will hopefully be post-Ike relief. We will not be driving it anywhere, only used for break and sleep area.

    We're still pondering other options but this is one of them.

    Randy, I know a guy who operates a website that acts as a sort of discount brokerage for RV rentals, ala hotels.com or priceline.

    www.getrv.com, ask for Ronald. You can use my name if you want, don't know that it will do you any good though.

    No affiliation, no experience dealing with him, I just happened to talk with him late last week and learned what he did. I'm sure he can get something arranged in Houston, because he mentioned he was really busy last week due insurance companies, etc renting RVs to set up command centers and to house adjusters.

    Thanks Dave.

    I have a feeling he'll be busy this weekend the next with Ike cleanup. Who knows if I can even get something for mid-October, but with low miles being local only, it will be better than getting an RV from Tyler, TX. That's where the car is.

    Lots of LeMons in Tyler, I saw several on my morning commute!!

    Yes indeed, a LeMon from Tyler, Texas! It will be one flying 81 Scirocco.

    RVs... ain't cheap! I know what they list for, but the rentals might be out of our budget.

    I've used GetRV.com for hospitality support for our Challenge team - always been a good deal - not cheap, but reasonable prices and no hassles.

    I'm considering attending the race if it's still happening, and I have a 33' RV.... need another driver?
