openly admit I know absolutely nothing about making vodka...but using an immersion blender? is this a giant industrial sized immersion blender, or are you making really small batches, or....?
Hey Guys thank you for the concern. Meant a lot to me to get that Text from Jason as well as hear y'all were concerned. This really is a family. I am ok though. I actually am not up there that much anymore as I have started working on another outside project but that morning I decided to go chat with everyone early. I mainly just deal with sales/marketing and getting the product where it needs to go now. Haven't been directly involved with day to day production for a few years now. A few months ago just realized I needed to take a breather and start working on my next project that isn't related to the vodka. I really like the start up faze of things and our actual vodka is kind of moving now pretty smoothly on its own. But as it tends to go I did decide to head up there early that day. I was actually on the phone outside the building when it all happened. A lot of the news stories aren't exactly accurate. Our vodka wasn't the direct cause of the fire but the distillery was messed up. Only one was hurt. I know there are reports of 2-3 but it was just one. Definitely a lot to take in though. Just going to take a deep breath and keep on pushing on....
