    I live next door and can see they're setting up a karting track through the parking lot. Looks like a serious ordeal. Anyone know whats going on today?
    I looks like a mini Monaco with the yachts in the background...

    No Karting - it was the Boys and Girls Club Admirial's Club Rendezvous. One of their big fundraisers. Three big parties - starting with a cocktail party and tours of 7 of the big yachts on Thursday night and ending with a Donna Summer's concert and sit down dinner on Saturday night.

    I only went to the event Thursday night - the Yacht Hop. Toured a few boats with my friend that had never seen them. They are pretty spectacular, but once you've seen a couple of 50M boats they all start to seem similar.

    Didn't know about the karting or I would have gone Saturday.

    Blew off the Donna Summer concert - had no reason to relive the 70's

    I am pretty sure that I will be working with the committee for the Boys and Girls Club Concours in March. (I am going to their silent auction committee meeting tonight, just in case anyone has anything they would like to donate to a VERY worthy cause).
