    For X-Mas my brother in law got me lessons to get certified. I have been on resort dives on 4 different vacations but I never got around to getting certified.

    Any advice from any of you divers out there?

    Where do I get some good equipment and are there any good websites out there?

    I'm not familiar with your area, but I would look into a neighborhood store. I would first research what you want on the web and armed with that information visit your local dealer. There's a lot of selection regarding equipment, don't cheap out it's your life we're talking about. Once you get certified you might look into an advance certification. It's usually only an additional 3 days of diving, but a lot more knowledge. I got my advanced through PADI. It was fun and valuable.

    I am looking to hear some info on any advice about equipment, brands and such and any advice from some experts
