Finally got around to installing my S line... This system is really nice, I was really impressed with the build quality....its really nice. The V-clamps he sends us is top notch! The install was straight forward and simple. I couldn't believe how heavy the stock system was. The only thing I ran into was that my exhaust stock clamps for the cats were welded on and couldn't get it off, so I had to use a different clamp..no big deal. Hopefully I did this right haha. Had a good friend with a lift help me out.

The stock 430 sound is complete gone, I love this tone. But I think I need to install headers, Its not as loud or as high pitched in the videos as I wanted it to be. Ronnie, you think the closed inner tips would have made a difference? My inner tips were opened and meshed.

I was wondering if you guys clamp this clamp all the way? I figure if you clamp it down all the way, then the headers wouldnt be able to more as freely?

I posted a video of my car with stock headers and cats, sounded high-pitch. Headers will make it louder.
I haven't heard in person the new tips with mesh, so I can't tell.

Great exhaust. The tube size looks a little bigger than the stock 2 3/8". Can anyone tell me the tubing size on this exhaust?

    Is Knightley's car AP headers + stock cats+ S-Line?

What grade stainless steel is S-Line using? 321?

I would love to try this exhaust, but my main reason would be to get rid of the stock headers... but as many others noted on here switching out to aftermarket headers had made the car loud.. I have a spider, so I cant and don't want the car too loud :(

I just switched out to Capristo headers. It is only a bit louder than stock, but in a good way. Sounds like the car has more balls, but certainly not obnoxious tone and volume. AP headers are the ones you want to avoid if you don't want loud.

I would second the comments about the 2 clamps from the cat > S-line. These are welded to the factory exhaust and if you plan to DIY or your shop/mechanic doesn't have a set on hand this will be an extra expense/delay.

Perhaps going forward the kit will come with two more 2.5" accuseal clamps.

Just got the car back today and wow what a sound. Absolutely in love with the S-line. From 6k+ rpm it just screams. The downshifts can be felt throughout the entire car. I didn't think the scud could get any wilder, but I was wrong. Will post up some videos soon.

It's good knowing that an F430 with headers and exhaust can beat an F80 M3 since my current daily driver is a 2015 M3! :D
