Wow...the new M3/M4 is actually underrated from factory, people are dynoing and get ~400-420 hp at the wheels (stock) = ~480 hp at the crank.
With Dinan stage 2 tune, that M3 is probably pushing 530+ hp.

Where are you located? Are you at sea level?

    Hi,

Before I get a proper "Go Pro" and do it right, my wife did this for few seconds. I see there is a tremendous difference between OEM vs my new set up, Fabspeed Headers + S-Line Exhaust. It screams over 5000 RPM but when you cruise on highways, it is very quiet so you do not need to worry about it being too loud. Therefore, for those members worry about the car being too loud, do not feel that way at all and go for it. I thnk it is even quieter than OEM while cruising around 3-4K RPM on 6th gear.

I took Dr. Ronnie's advise and am very happy about it.. I could not have done any better set up. I do not think I need any more to add (Cat Bypass Pipe). This is perfect set up for me and it is LOUD when you push it.

About 1100ft above sea level in Kansas.

He replied to the YouTube video in the comments with more detail:

"JB4 map 2 with 1/2 tank 91oct and full bottle of octane booster, awe carbon fiber intake and stock exhaust"

Yeah, like I've been telling all this time, S-Line exhaust is actually quieter and less droning than stock OEM exhaust. Only loud when you floor it above 4500 rpm.

Glad you like it! Looking forward for more videos :)

Yes, and it's nice that there is no backflow gurgling or "choking" at lower RPMs!

So can I confirm the S line + aftermarket headers is quieter than stock with valve closed at idling and cruising?

Yes. With my experience and Ronnie made it clear that cruising on the high way is very quiet. Can't be happier. It will be loud when you start the engine but it will be quiet when the engine is warmed up. You will have the true F-1 sound that you will never get with OEM. vibration will be gone and you are totally in control of how you will make your car sound like. Will not be obnoxious in lower RPM but you could make it scream over 5000 and you push it. Pops and crackles will give you smile as I absolutely love them.

Not sure when idling compared to the stock exhaust with valve closed.
Here's cruising at highway speed 80 mph, I'll post another cruising video tomorrow.

I just checked that an F80 M3 with JB4 map 2 tune is pushing 580+ hp at the crank!
That's impressive an F430 with headers & exhaust can still beat it.

    Haha....yup my F430 has a hybrid mode.
    Thanks btw!

Does the S-Line exhaust come with installation instructions? If so, can you guys share them?

Also, I assume that the rear diffuser has to come off to fit the new exhaust, but what about the underfloor? Is it possible to keep the underfloor on?

    Thanks

Hey Ronnie! I was just wondering, can this be installed on a F430 with stock headers and cats?

As far as I know, YES... You could just put the S-line exhaust. But you need to get the final confirmation from Ronnie who knows about this better than me.

It's just an exhaust so you can have stock headers and cats, no problem. If you want a lot more sound, upgrade the headers and see how you like the F1 scream. If that is not loud enough for you, go with straight pipes as well or sport cats.

Yeah, like everybody said, it's a cat-back system, so after stock secondary cats.

I currently have fabspeed headers with stock everything else back and really contemplating getting the S-line to go along with them. My one question/concern is how the s-line sounds when you're driving at 5/10th's? Is it too docile as in will I miss all the feedback the current setup gives me? I love how the car doesn't have to be driven hard to have plenty of character and don't want to lose any of it especially when it comes to the all the shenanigans coming out of the tailpipes at any speed.

It is. And there is also a 458 system now as well.

FWIW, I have the prototype 360 system and it is way better than the capristo stage 3 that I had on there before.

It is by far the best exhaust I've put into a car. I know, now that Sherpa was involved from the very beginning of developing the system. It makes a car reaching to a totally different level. A very happy customer.
