Is that just exhaust? Sounds great.

hi, I'm thinking of S line but also wondering about oem exh. when it is ALWAYS open.... using forza controller by steve B....
how is the exhaust note at 1 to 4K on oem/opened ?

other option is FabSpeed valved exhaust.. where I can use the forza on 3 modes...

I realize nothing will give a S line exh. note, other than S line exhaust BUT... I could give up the S line but more controllability if the noise level is close enough in volume and pitch somewhat....

Prob better to hear it yourself, just open your oem exhaust valve. Pretty simple, should take 10 mins.
S-Line exhaust with stock everything else is not louder than oem exhaust. OEM exhaust is pretty loud with deep tone plus droning in the lower/highway cruising rpm.

ok… well, how bad is the drone? i hope the S line does not have drone….
do i just disconnect the vacuum line from the valves on OEM and it just stays open than ?

do i need to put a plug on the oem vacuum line or anything like that? like a gold tee or what ?!?

You can plug the valve hoses with M5-screw. Just wrench it in and it will hold. If you don't plug them, you might get Check Engine-light.

I am thinking of installing AP headers and keep stock cats. I already have AP titanium catback set with no valves. VERY loud. I bet with headers it's even louder?

Do I need my ECU's tuned after replacing headers?

I recommend you tune the ECU's after replacing headers for maximum power gains, and to dial in the air/fuel ratios and some other parameters so the car is not running too rich or lean. There is a slight dip in the power band after replacing that the tune will completely correct - noticeably too.

Yes, replacing oem headers (with primary/pre-cats) with any aftermarket headers (no pre-cats) will make your car louder.

No precats in Euro spec'ed cars. But I bet it's still gonna be somewhat louder... 😁

Make sure you get the proper clamps the ones that come from S line are slightly too big so the exhaust will move. Just using an expander may not work. We are talking a couple mm's.

I was hoping there was more than just that one video, and more details on the car in the video (cats, headers, etc.)

Do it Fredrik - I have the Fabspeed headers and S-Line and the sound is ridiculous. With the tune I added about 50HP. Can go wrong.
