I was dropping someone off at a Honda dealership to pick up their car when I saw a tiny convertible in the service bay.

I have never seen a Honda S600, it was very cool! It looked like a very original car, well used, maybe repainted once upon a time. I wish I'd had my camera with me. It had arabic plates on the front.

Anybody ever had one? Driven one?

(This isn't the car I saw, these are just pictures I pulled from teh intarweb.

These are very neat technically... actually have chain drive! Both them and the S800 (which went to a more conventional shaft drive pretty quickly because the chain was having difficulties with the increased power) are highly sought after by collectors... especially valuable in Japan.

I've driven a Coupe, like so. It's a bit strange driving a car that will rev over 9000 rpm, but has very little power. The one I drove had very badly aged tires on it, so I only took it around the block a few times. And it smoked badly.
