I got 150 + the California VIN = 151. Difference I guess, comes from #182517 (look at your registry's VIN n° for that one)

Appologize, you are correct. Register shows the correct VIN, but the wrong model , will be solved with the next update. Thanks for making me aware!:)

This looks like fraud and I wonder if Ferrari truly declares what they produce.
It's so blatant that all the series have a discrepancy between the indicated number
    and the actually manufactured number.

I think Ferrari got ahead of itself a bit with the GTO and the SA Apreta. Since then it has: 1. Made more of its models time limited 2. Produced more of the 1 of xxx cars (as in higher xxx) 3. Raised the price of the its 1 of xxx cars significantly (both base price + expected spend in options)

    I agree.
Generally, we should have prison for abuse of corporate assets and tax fraud.

I think they did realize this and adjusted their strategy immediately after, especially in lieu of going public and associated higher disclosure and scrutiny standards. Let's also not forget that the GTO and the SA Aperta were released while the Great Recession was still ongoing, especially in Europe, and Ferrari probably went a bit overboard to shore up their finances.

    Hello everyone,
Today I’ve reached the mark of 81 SA Aperta chassis documented. I started this journey some time ago purely out of passion for the model and as a Ferrari enthusiast. It’s a hobby for me to track and register these cars.
Although I’m still far from the total production number, it’s getting quite difficult to find new units, so I’d like to ask for your help, if you have any information or photos of one, please feel free to DM me.

I also run a page called @howmanyunits, where I post about how many units of each Ferrari model are in Brazil and in which colors. It’s worth checking out!
