Rubens seems to be a nice guy even though the reputation of Brasilians is otherwise. Any F-1 Caliber driver has ( needs ? ) a huge ego. Rubens seems to be an exception here. His personal attributes aside, a F-1 driver has to be on top of his game at all times: Rubens doesnt seem to have " it ". When F was DOMINATING the last few years, my friend, Zippy the chimp, could put in a decent show on track in a F. Now the happy times are over and its time to step up. In the next few races Rubens has to show his mettle ( or lack thereof ).

That was far from being RB causing all the chaos: everybody was ramming everybody. The only winners were the ones that went around the outside ... like MS.

Shifter, actually --- the one in the Jordan. It was pretty obvious that the jordan was in the wrong gear. He slowed too early, and after RB veered outside to keep from tagging the yellow submarine, Rubens was able to slow, pull around the back of the Jordan, and then power back onto the straight, all while the Jordan was chugging around the corner like a snail on valium: Wrong Gear on the yellow car.

Some of those back markers are becoming a hazard to navigation. The 107% rule had something to be said for it.

Rubens did seem to be plagued by understeer all day: an effect of a hard compound on that track.

Yeah, Rubens had a bad race weekend and has had a mediocre year. I just don't see his performance this year as being disproportiately lame compared to his and his teamate's previous year's performance gap.

Schatten, it was a joke and not a spoiler.

Strangely enough Pete was clear voyant. On second thought that is not so strange. I think his (Ruben's not Pete's) mind is already at BAR. That's at least how he was stumbling around in Hungary.
