Well, past time to replace the original interior in my 74 246gts. Came from factory with "chairs" tan and black, so will go back with the same. Just looking for feedback from any of you that may have done this recently. Any advice on the best supplier would be great ( superperformance, reoriginals etc.).

    Thanks for any help

going to reupholster them or just replace them?

I used Re-originals some years ago. I was happy with their replacement seats at the time, and I suspect they are holding up well 6-7 years later.

    Let's ask.

HEY URO, HOW ARE THOSE SEATS HOLDING UP?

Do your research properly and plan it very carefully, you can waste a lot of time and money if you dont.

It also depends on what you are willing to pay as well, be prepared for some nasty shocks and so called experts selling items "manufactured on original machine" or by "the same bloke that made it for ferrari".

Most have good products its all a question of what you want and like. Originality is the key to a good job so ask for samples and then decide. word of warning, dont be tempted to do just a part resto job, either do it all or leave well alone. I know i fell into that trap:-(

If it isnt in horrible condition keep it original.

Otherwise for materials original ask the couple from Dutch i dont know the name but a lot of guys from Dino Therad know them.

is the rest of the car original?
    does that matter to you?
If yes then look into rejunivating your existing leather. You might consider exhausting all Other possibilities before destroying original stuff.
    Do you have any pictures?
