My dad's a TV repairman, got an ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

The one house within 20 miles with a Ferrari in the garage and it gets hit. One more reason to park my Ford in the driveway.

When you say too much speed do you mean he was on the drug or in MPH?............ hell it was both! How the F do you get going that fast in a residential area, then be that unfortunate to hit a Ferrari owners garage.

    I bet he's grounded.

That's bad. Does the insurance cover this? Wonder how it can be repaired or just a write-off.

Looking at the photo of the 360 out of the garage (or with the lump removed anyway) and it looks fixable to me ... seriously.

Regarding NNO's post ... I think you are being a bit over the top:
If the chassis is straight, and car repaired properly then what do you have an issue with? ... talk about hitting a man when he is down. Now if it is not written off he will never be able to move it :( (if he so chooses too).

Many of the worlds greatest cars have had prangs and still going strong after repairs ... and I have seen cars repaired after a heck of a lot worse damage than this.

Cars are machines ... if you actually use your car then you raise the chances of this happening (or in the case if the owner had been driving it it would have been safely somewhere else :D :D :D). Machines are fixable.

I'd rather buy a car that had been thrashed/raced and crashed than a car that had never moved and sat in a garage all it's life. Atleast you know it is capable of moving ... ;)
    Pete
ps: I guess you are worried about an improper fix-up ... that can only be determined once the car is fixed, not damning it before we know it's fate.

I know of a Porsche that was written off (completely) three times and you would not have known the difference (from any other Porsche) after each fix ... brilliantly repaired (each time!) by one of the best panel beaters in NZ.

Yep for the right price ... and after putting it on a chassis machine, I'd buy it.

This adds a whole new meaning to the term "garage queen".

Is there any possibility that there was an attempted breeding here!!!

And that's Suffolk Law to you guys from USD!

  17. I hope the chump driving the truck got messed up badly!

Did you go to "Suffolk U"?

Well, now that 360 will be proudly displayed, sans wheels, on cinder blocks in the front yard.

I did but it was Suffolk Law.

There is a long standing prior family history and connection to the school and the dean of admissions is my oldest friend.

We grew up together in Shrewsbury, Mass!

I thought the plates on that 360 were Mass plates!

I think maybe the driver of the Ford misunderstood the meaning of "F" car!

I am not so sure to assign blame. Someone professionally qualified please check the images and tell us what really happened:

A., Blue pick-up was sitting peacefully in the garage and the 360 come at his speed and wedged between the pick-up and the floor.

B., Red Ferrari was sitting peacefully in the garage and the blue pick-up came and climbed onto the 360 indecently.

C., One car was sitting in the garage peacefully when the other car was teleported into the very same place because of a secret military experiment that went awry.

My take is A because damage marks are not consistent with B (and claiming C might put you in trouble with the CIA).

All you have to do is look at the picture. The Ferrari was parked there and the truck hit it. I don't know how anyone could think anything else. The garage door is under the truck. That could only have happened if the garage door was shut and the truck hit it. Not to mention the fact that the Ferrari is parked straight and the truck is at an angle.

If the Ferrari hit the back of a truck at a high rate of speed it wouldn't lift up the truck and it would have serious front end damage, which it doesn't.

Brings a whole new meaning to "I'd hit it".
