Man I was thinking earlier about what I would do if I didn't have my fcar anymore... It was a very sad thought.

Congrats though and good luck with the investment.

What did you do to advertise your cars for sale?

Ouch. Had to move both of them but in the long run a wise move. Priorities over emotion. You will be back.

    John,

I remember you got that nice 6-speed about the time I bought my 360. It is sad, those were great cars (should've sold me your Gallardo!), but I know how it can be and hope all works out well for you so you can return to the fold soon.

It's also a reminder how FAST time flies by, and how we should take every moment possible to cherish the important things in life, meaning spending quality time with loved ones and yes, our loved cars. I've been working overseas for 5 months and won't be back for another 1-2 months, so I know the feeling you have.

Still trying to overcome my emotions LOL, I'm very positive will do well. I had both cars sold to local Exotic car dealer, got ok deal.

Definitely will be back, got to have F cars to roll around in town :D

Not sure about 458 very nice choice, but next plan is 360 Stratdale or 430. Might change my mind again when I'm ready LOL

Time flies very quickly, only had enough time to spend with family & kids. Both cars are sitting in garage collecting dust, sadly but true last year I've only added about 600 miles on the 360 and about 1100 miles on Gallardo , time to move on and find a new owner with love LOL.

I am on the fence on this too, I have loved my 360 spyder this summer, but want to move up. I am afraid I will have sellers remorse as soon as it is gone though....long wait for a 458 to show up!

And if I recall correctly, they are asking at least 10% over your previous purchase price for the 360!

I'm sure the price is negotiable, dealer price tends to start high LOL.

Best of luck with the sale John. It sounds like you have your priorities in order though, which is a very good thing. I look forward to hearing how your "investment" goes and hopefully, look forward to seeing a new car from you in the future.

    Best of luck,

    Chris

so you sold them to this dealer and they put it on ebay?
hope you got a good price for them. did you list it on Ferrariad?
good luck with your business. I'm in the same boat. Need a lot of money to remodel the biz and had to use the toy car fund (I call it the fun fund) for this. sigh... delay gratification for a couple of more years.

I didn't have intention to sell it before last friday kinda of last minute decision, need to expand my business with more new products and inventory when my manufacturer were proposing with deals last Tuesday which I can't pass.

For sure if I have more time would list it on Ferrariad and get more money out of it, sell it to dealer is fastest way less headaches and hassles. Of course the price would not be as good as you sell on your own.

Just adjust your emotions and look at it in good ways and for sure you will be back in no time :)

actually, I haven't had a Ferrari. I set aside the fund for one but then things came up - Life happens.
I see posting where people showed their car delivery and I get wistful.
However, I guess it's for the best - investing in the future. In the mean time, just enjoy life.
