If anyone is interested, or know someone else that may be. I am putting my beloved 1981 308GTSi, Red/Tan, with 27K miles on it up For Sale.

It has always been a Local Car. It was originally Sold Brand New in 1981 from Continental in Hinsdale to an older Gent who lived out in Naperville. Who then only put 3000 miles on it until he sold it in 1995 to a guy in St.Charles. Who then put 11,250 miles on it until 2000. Then, I bought it, freshly Serviced and gone over by Lake Forest Sports Cars in January of 2001, (at their old store in Lake Forest, IL.) with 14,250 Miles. The car now has 27K.

I have all of the Books and Tools. And alot of paperwork.

As much as I'd love to have 2 Ferrari's. (As, I had 3 Corvettes at the same time twice in my previous life.) Right now it just isn't (here comes that word....) "Practical" for me to right now. I bought a 1995 348 Spider several weeks ago, and want to get that Car here and into my garage.

It is a very "Nice 308", that has won a few Awards. One is a 2nd in class at an FCA Concours.

Just send me a "P/M" if you are interested, or want any further information.

    Bummer, but understandable.

Make sure you put the car in a free ad at FChat.

Yes, Thanks. I just wanted to see if anyone here might be interested in it first before I did that.

Yeah, I am bummed about it. But, I reallly want to get the other car here so that maybe I can still get some driving time in with it. And I do not have room for both right now. The Karts have been selling really well, and I have been keeping some in the other half of my garage. And, hey, if the 308 doesn't sell, that's O.K. I am just putting out a "feeler" to see what happens. Otherwise, maybe I'll just switch the cars from where they are now. I'll have to wait and see.

    Frank,
Are you selling it because you have another F-car on the way?

Let me know what you are asking for it and I will throw it out there.

    Thanks.

It'll be nice to see that mint 308 go to a local.
Looking forward to seeing your new ride in person.
