I understand if you register a Nevada Corp, you can title your car to the Corp. The advantage is no sales tax in Nevada. Is this true? Has anyone done this?
    Thanks.

Perhaps best asked in the Nevada section?

I will say I see a -lot- of high end cars registered out of Montana due to taxes. Don't know the mechanics of that.

This information was passed onto me by a freinf who owns a sailboat in California. He claims that's how lots of those boats are registaered, for those tax reasons.

The "edit" button would have done just fine.

Does a corporation need to be based in NV to be registered there?

Nevada HAS 7% sales tax AND very HIGH tag fees on cars. A 50K car can run you 2K per year for plates alone.
