Which kind of state is CO?

The kind where when one buys a new car with a trade-in, one only pays sales tax on the incremental amount? (Like Arizona to name one)

Or where one pays sales tax on the entire price of the new car regardless? (Like California to name one)

Thanks! (I'm moving there next month and deciding what to do re cars...)

Wow... lucky! Here in WA state, it's almost 9.2% on the PURCHASE price.

Don't complain... that's a deal compared to here.
