Please note, I have no affiliation with this car, especially with those wheels. http://saltlakecity.craigslist.org/cto/1593211883.html "This is a GEM and a true collectors dream. I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND A BETTER." I wonder what I would win if I found a better 308?
Also, if you contact the guy and he sends you a zip file with pictures, DON'T OPEN. If you do, select eBay searches will come back with this car at the top of the results page. Don't ask how I know.... The zip inserts an exe that runs at startup that somehow modifies the eBay results.
Ya think that they would make the price a bit more realistic so as not to tip EVERYONE off that its a scam.
This car showed up on craigslist in 3 different cities. Orlando, San Diego and New York. This car is a scam. I have gone ack and forth with these people and ebay and always seem to come to the same ending. If it's too good to be true Well you know what happens. Nice looking car except for the wheels.
That's what I've always wondered.... make it just a TAD below market, write a REALLY GOOD ad (i.e., no English errors ) and THEN try to run the scam. Not that I'm in ANY WAY encouraging such activity - but ya gotta wonder about the intelligence of the scammers. Oh... wait. Nevermind. Jedi
this car showed up on ebay 3 weeks ago and ebay says it was a legit auction. the car was listed for $16000 but the auction ended early. the seller said it sold and then denied having the auction. the car has s/n zffaa02a5a0032971. any info would be great in tracking down the scam
