Over the last few weeks I have looked at every F-car on the internet (I think). It didn’t take me too long to see that the “cheep” F-car of each series is the one with a Salvage Title. The interesting thing about this phenomena is that the Classic F-car can be “re-built” (even re-bodied) and still bring high $$ prices. The newer the car the bigger the deduction for a Salvage Title. Did I get that right? Is that the way it works and if so why?
Just trying to learn the rules of the F-car market.

Quite simple really. Never restored cars depreciatein value like falling rocks since there are so many "clear" titled ones available in the market. The reason the old ones are worth so much is because of supply issues. There simply very veyr rare, and sought after by collectors, which drives the price up. Bottom line: Newer models that are salvaged lose value very quickly because there are so many others that are clear titles, awaiting pruchases.
