    I haven't posted much, so I thought I should.

The first one is about a month old, My C170b with my baby in the background.

The second one is baby in front of my hangar.

The next one was taken at Mira Mar

The next few were taken at a CAF show at Brown Field in 87

Then there is Fi-Fi touching down at Gillespie in 97, that was the only time she came here because the runway was just too short.

The last one is little Rachel Carter in 95. She was the youngest pilot to ever fly coast to coast, she was ten at the time. I was XO of Air Group One, CAF El Cajon, CA. I'm the handsom hunk in the flt suit, and my wife next to me, with my good friend Gene Fisher, he's the one with the steel pot. He was a bird in the 82n AB. We did a press release, and got the tv and radio to show up. I made her an honorary Col in Air Group One, and the 99s showed up, and grave her honorary membership as well. I've seen her several times over the years, and she has grown into a beautiful woman.

I couldn't figure out how to put text between the photos, but you get the idea.

I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did taking them.

    This is Gillespie.

The first pix is on the ramp at the Air and Space Museum, you can see twin peaks in the background, that's the approach for 27 L and R.

Second pix of 3 bips, holding short for 27R.

Last pix is on the ramp at the Air and Space Museum looking South, that's Mt Helix in the background.

    Gillespie is my home base.

Rachel- Glad to see you stayed in aviation. I expected you to be fighter pilot by now, but any kind of pilot is great. Hopefully someone will check you out in a P-51 and you can have the best of both worlds.
