IMHO, this was among the less interesting SF Auto Shows in memory. Occasionally they get a fair number of manufacturer concepts, but this time there were almost none. A Camaro concept is apparently coming this weekend.

It's a pretty low bar the SF show usually fails to get over. You rarely see much you couldn't find wandering the streets unfortunately. Not sure why we don't get the attention LA and Chicago (for example) get.

Because LA is a car town and SF is not. Also, about 40% higher population in So Cal than No Cal makes LA a much larger market. The LA show is massive. I've only been to the SF show once many years ago. Got free tickets. Felt like I got gypped.

Did anyone see the terrible paint on that black BMW 135 they had on display. So much orange peel. Yuck!

Like I'm going to pay to see a couple of porsches and a bmw that's less interesting than my car?

Went to the LA show Wednesday, it really is a good show. They had the two Scuderias we've all seen pics of, the 997GT2 (but no GT3 or RS), the one-off million dollar Lambo, the Nissan GTR, a very nice Maserati display, etc. Got behind the ropes to sit in the Scuderia, what great seats! They had the race harnesses in them, are they going to be legal in the US this time around?

    Thanks for posting the photos.

I've lost interest of the SF Autoshow in the last 3 years. For the time and effort, I'm sticking with the Janurary San Jose Car Show. Easier to get to and parking is far cheaper.

The only thing I reall enjoy about the SF Autoshow is really just the city itself (born and raised there) so it holds more sentimental value as a city, not the show. I take my family up once in awhile and point out the places where I went to school and where we lived and what's changed and what hasn't.

I went AGAIN - been going for nearly 40 years and my son who is almost 16 - every year since birth. The show is getting more boring every year. Like someone else stated, my own garage has an INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW going 365 days a year and is far more exciting.

I must say I wasn't very impressed either.
If you ever go to the Detroit show, especially during the Media days, you're pretty much spoiled for any other US auto show.

The most annoying thing about the SF Auto Show was the amount of kids. Kids were always running around, slamming doors, pressing buttons, and taking all the time in the world to sit in the drivers seat. Dis anyone else find this extremely annoying? I know its slightly expected, but why do parents bring kids to car shows if they're not going to look after them?

I think that we'll have a better car show at SR tomorrow. Should be a good crowd right before the shopping rush.

Your time is better spent going to SR or taking a drive by Silicon Valley Auto group and touring Stevens Creek Blvd....I can't believe i wasted my time and money paying admission for that.......it's a joke.

Wasn't bad, the Fords were pretty neat, especially the robot.
